Donation & Pledge Terms
Resurrection Orthodox Cathedral (ROCOR)

Thank you for supporting the Resurrection Orthodox Cathedral. Your pledges and donations help fund our ministries, charitable work, and the construction of our new Cathedral.

These terms explain how donations and pledges are processed through our online store.

1. All Donations Are Final

All donations, sponsorships, tithes, offerings, and pledges made through our online store are:

  • non-refundable
  • non-transferable
  • considered voluntary charitable contributions

Once submitted, donations cannot be canceled or reversed.

2. Pledges Are Not Legally Binding

A pledge is a good-faith commitment to support the Cathedral.

  • Pledges may be fulfilled anytime during the pledge year.
  • You may adjust or increase your pledge at any time.
  • A pledge is not a contract or debt.

3. Recurring Pledges / Subscription Giving

If you choose a recurring pledge (monthly, quarterly, or annual):

  • Your payment method will be charged automatically based on the schedule you select.
  • You may update or cancel your recurring schedule at any time in your account or by contacting us.
  • Canceling a recurring payment does not refund past charges.

4. Tax-Deductible Giving

Resurrection Orthodox Cathedral is a recognized nonprofit religious organization under ROCOR.

  • Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
  • Donors are responsible for consulting their own tax advisor.
  • Annual giving statements are available upon request.

5. Event, Sponsorship, and Campaign Contributions

Gifts toward any specified campaign, such as:

  • Cathedral construction
  • Icons, mosaics, or furnishings
  • Feast sponsorships
  • Golden Book entries
  • Cultural Center support
  • Clergy vestment gifts
  • Candle sponsorships
  • Building pledges

are considered designated charitable gifts and are non-refundable.

6. Errors in Billing

If you believe there has been a billing error:

Email us within 7 days at:
office@resurrectionrocathedral.org

We will review the issue and correct any clerical errors immediately.

This does not include refunds, which are not permitted on donations.

7. Donor Information

We protect donor information and do not sell or share donor data.
